Generational Discipleship
QUEST LOGO.jpg
Sunday night children's ministry called "Quest Club" is encourages parents to spend time throughout the week teaching their child verses.  Club meetings are a weekly boost for the kids, and a fun time of additional learning.

The first 3 Wednesday nights of each month are designed for whole-family togetherness.  These nights vary between learning, serving, fellowship, and connecting events.

Family Nights

Most of the people at Gospel and whom Gospel is reaching did not grow up having family devotions, or a family worship time, or any family habit for parents to pass the faith on to their children.  So to help the parents who choose to obey Deuteronomy 6 in passing on their faith to the next generation, we have Family Night.

WHEN: FIRST THREE WEDNESDAYS OF EACH MONTH (7-8p)

WHAT: CASUAL, WHOLE FAMILY ENVIRONMENT IN THE GYM

We use a family devotional book called "Long Story Short" that provides a 5 day per week guide that takes less than 10 minutes each day.   Family Night lessons are based on the upcoming week of learning.

Family Togetherness

No splitting up or spreading out.  All age groups stay together in the same space, and each household sits, learns, and works together.

Just like a real family at home, parents adapt the learning and activities for older and younger ages.

Family Interaction

Fast-paced, short segments of reading, discussion, activities, and games give every attention span the chance to learn and relearn.

Just like a real family struggles to challenge the teens while keeping the 3 year old focused.

Family Comradery

Meeting 3 weeks of each month encourages us to know there are other families working at generational discipleship with us.

Just like all busy families need accountability, we are helped to stay on track knowing each week begins a new story.
